Customer Service Operative Student Accommodation
Bournemouth
Monday to Friday | 10:00am 6:00pm (37.5 hours)
12.82 per hour
Temporary to Permanent (for the right person)
About the Role
This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who wants more than a job. Were looking for a motivated, people-focused Customer Service Operative whos keen to grow, develop, and build a long-term career within student accommodation.
Youll be based on-site, fully involved in the day-to-day running of the building, supporting students, coordinating activity across the site, and helping deliver a positive, well-run living experience. For the right person, this role can absolutely progress its about attitude, ownership, and a willingness to learn.
What Youll Be Doing
Front-Facing Customer Service
Acting as the main point of contact for students, visitors, and partners
Handling enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
Managing the enquiries inbox, including complaints, issues, and general queries
Supporting student welfare and escalating where appropriate
Student Engagement & Rebookings
Building strong relationships with residents
Supporting rebooking activity and student engagement
Assisting with planning and delivering student events
Site & Building Coordination
Managing parcels, deliveries, and post
Supporting the coordination of maintenance issues and contractors
Helping keep the building organised, compliant, and running smoothly
Administration & Systems
Working confidently across multiple internal systems
Keeping records accurate and up to date
Supporting general office and site administration
What Were Looking For
Someone passionate about people and service
A proactive, positive attitude with a strong work ethic
Confidence dealing with a wide range of enquiries and situations
Willingness to learn new systems and processes
Ambition to grow, develop, and succeed long term
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or student accommodation is helpful but attitude and potential matter most.
